Welcome to Boyasa ("we," "our," or "us"). Boyasa is a technology platform connecting customers with drivers and delivery partners for ride-hailing and courier delivery services across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.
By accessing or using the Boyasa platform, mobile applications, or website (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
To use our Services, you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old to register. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Boyasa provides a technology platform that connects customers with independent drivers and delivery partners. Boyasa is not a transportation company and does not provide transportation services directly. All transportation and delivery services are provided by independent contractors.
Services include: ride-hailing (motorcycle, tricycle, car), package and courier delivery, and business logistics solutions.
Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and demand (surge pricing may apply). Prices are displayed in local currency (NGN for Nigeria, GHS for Ghana, KES for Kenya).
Boyasa charges a commission on each completed transaction. Commission rates vary by service type and are disclosed within the Platform. Payment is processed through our integrated payment providers including Paystack and Flutterwave.
Refunds for eligible transactions will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Customers may cancel orders before a driver accepts without penalty. Cancellations after driver acceptance may incur a cancellation fee. Drivers who cancel accepted orders may face penalties affecting their account standing.
Disputed charges should be reported to [email protected] within 48 hours of the transaction.
Boyasa retains a commission of 15% on ride-hailing services and 18% on delivery services from amounts paid by customers. Detailed commission schedules are available in the Platform settings.
The Boyasa name, logo, and platform are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without written permission. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant Boyasa a non-exclusive license to use that content for service improvement purposes.
You must not: engage in fraudulent activities, harass or discriminate against other users, transport illegal goods, attempt to manipulate the Platform's systems, share your account with others, or circumvent our payment systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boyasa's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. Boyasa is not liable for: accidents during trips, loss or damage to goods in transit, acts of independent contractors, or indirect/consequential damages.
Disputes should first be raised with our customer support team at [email protected]. Unresolved disputes will be subject to mediation before arbitration.
